Instruction for travellers
Dear Guests! Welcome to Moscow, the capital of Russia!Here are some instructions that can help you in your trip.
- 12.00 - check-out in the hotel and therefore we advise you to go straight to the train station to leave your luggage there and to have opportunity to walk and see more sights before the train departure.
- Please, note that nowadays any train station is not a criminal place, but, please, pay attention to your luggage.
- Please, keep your passport closer to you as it is very important. Don't put it in the suit-cases and bags not to loose it.
- Opposite the train station there is a department store "Moskovsky" and supermarket "RAMSTOR" where you can buy any food, souvenirs or Russia vodka. Please, don't buy any hot drinks even if they are cheaper in unknown places, on the station platforms from people because they can be of a very bad quality.
- When you are in the train, please, remember, that practically each stop is about 20 min (sometimes more or less but it must be checked carefully). So, please, don't go away from the train for a long time not to be late for it.
- Please, note that usually a traveler needs about 1500 Russian rubles on his expense when he is on board the train if he isn't going to have breakfast, dinner and supper at the train restaurant. If he prefers to have meals in the train restaurant then we can inform that all the meals for a person/a day costs about 600 - 700 Russian rubles.
- We advise you to count and exchange the rest of Russian rubles in Moscow as the exchange rate on the border is very low.
- As for the Custom Declaration, please, note that if you come by plane and take the Green Cannel or you come from Helsinki by train or you have no stamp in your Custom Declaration then you don't need it.
- You need the Declaration:
- if the sum of your cash is more than 3000$;
- if you have professional equipment for shooting;
- if you have satellite phone (not a mobile one);
- if you have medicine that include drugs.
